CBRE U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets is pleased to announce the financing of Duke Medical Plaza (the “Property”) located in Durham, North Carolina adjacent to Research Triangle Park (‘RTP’). Zack Holderman and Jesse Greshin worked on behalf of the borrower to secure the financing.

RTP, the largest research park in the nation, is a 7,000-acre vibrant hub for innovation and high-tech research, located at the center of the Research Triangle and anchored by three world-class research universities (Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State). The Class A, 60,192 square-foot single tenant facility is 100% occupied on a newly executed long-term lease extension to the DukeHealth Integrated Practice (DHIP). DHIP is a wholly owned subsidiary of Duke University Health System (DUHS, colloquially ‘DukeHealth’), a dominant investment grade academic health system (Moody’s: Aa3). DHIP offers 14 clinical pediatric services including neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, adolescent gynecology, oncology, rheumatology, nephrology, PT/OT/ST, pulmonary and on-site clinical laboratory and imaging.
