News Release: UNC Health Pardee Celebrates Brevard Campus Opening with Ribbon Cutting

On March 4, UNC Health Pardee celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its medical office building on the new Brevard Campus located at 277 N. Broad St., marking an important milestone in expanding access to care for patients in Transylvania County and the surrounding region. Community leaders, providers, and UNC Health Pardee teammates gathered to commemorate the opening of the new facility.

“We are proud to continue investing in the health and well-being of Brevard and Transylvania County residents,” said John Bryant, vice president of operations and support services, UNC Health Pardee. “This new medical office building reflects our long-term commitment to this community and our goal of making high-quality care more convenient and accessible.”

Beginning March 9, Pardee BlueMD will start seeing primary care patients in the new 277 N. Broad St. location. These providers and care team are relocating from the existing Asheville Hwy. space to the new building, allowing for an enhanced patient experience and room for continued growth.

Pardee Rx – Brevard, a community pharmacy with both an interior retail space and drive-thru window, will open on the Brevard Campus on March 23. Outpatient infusion services, an expansion of services by Pardee Cancer Center, a Department of Pardee Hospital, will follow by opening in the building later in April with select non-oncology infusions.

Pardee BlueMD Behavioral Health will remain at 1409 Asheville Hwy. until April, when it will also relocate to the new Brevard Campus building. Pardee Surgical Associates Brevard and Pardee Neurology Associates will continue seeing patients in their current location at 1409 Asheville Hwy.

The community will be invited to attend an open house and tour the facility at a later date this spring.
