News Release: Ackerman & Co. Arranges Acquisition of Medical Office Property in Decatur, Ga.

Atlanta, Feb. 6 , 2026 – Sean Patrick, Senior Vice President at Ackerman & Co., has completed the acquisition of 1435 McLendon Drive, a 3,504-square-foot medical office building in Decatur, Ga. Patrick represented the buyer, a large, prominent Arthritis and Rheumatology medical practice, which will occupy the single-story freestanding building.

1435 McLendon Drive is positioned near Decatur’s thriving downtown and offers convenient access to I-285 and I-85. The property also provides walkable access to nearby amenities and ample parking directly adjacent to the building.

As part of this complicated transaction, Patrick navigated lease terminations of existing tenants and the completion of a new Declaration covering the ownership changes.
