News Release: MUSC Health celebrates Clements Ferry Pavilion opening

Charleston, S.C. (Jan. 27, 2026) – MUSC Health leaders gathered with government officials to celebrate a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the MUSC Health Clements Ferry Pavilion. The medical pavilion will increase access to care for those in the surrounding communities of Berkeley and Charleston counties and bring medical specialties closer to home. The new medical pavilion opened in December 2025.

“We are proud to bring MUSC services and expertise to this community,” said Eugene Hong, M.D., chief physician executive for MUSC Physicians and MUSC Health. “MUSC is positioned to match the rapid growth across Berkeley and Charleston counties by strategically expanding its facilities, services and clinical capabilities to ensure residents have access to world-class care close to home.”

The four-story 80,000-square-foot medical office building brings a wide range of comprehensive, coordinated care services together in one convenient location. The pavilion employs 180 physicians and care team members, and patients have access to more than a dozen specialties, including:

·       An advanced imaging center.

·       Adult and pediatric primary care.

·       Orthopedics.

·       Physical and occupational therapy.

·       Ophthalmology.

·       Heart and vascular care.

·       Gastroenterology.

·       Obstetrics and gynecology.

·       Oncology and infusion services.

Based on a comprehensive review of services, MUSC leaders expanded their portfolio to close existing care gaps and ensure that the facility’s clinical capabilities closely align with the community’s growing demand. The multispecialty clinic offers care in surgery, rheumatology, endocrinology, neurology, neurosurgery and more.
