The newly delivered 12,187 square foot stand-alone hybrid emergency department and urgent care center is now open and serving patients at 25550 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria, Arizona, within the Lake Pleasant Towne Center, a local retail destination.
Designed to elevate the patient experience and support efficient healthcare delivery, the new facility reflects a collaborative vision shared by Anchor, HonorHealth, a non-profit healthcare system serving the greater Phoenix area with nine acute-care hospitals, more than 200 primary and specialty care locations, a cancer care network, research institute, and community services, and Intuitive Health, the pioneer of the combined emergency and urgent care model.

HonorHealth Complete Care – Lake Pleasant operates 24/7 and welcomes walk-in patients, offering a care-driven approach that prioritizes speed, clarity, and seamless delivery. The hybrid emergency and urgent care model eliminates the need for patients to self-diagnose before choosing where to seek care, simplifying access while reducing unnecessary costs. Originally developed by Texas-based Intuitive Health in 2008, the model continues to reshape how communities access immediate medical services.

The full-service emergency department features a trauma room, CT and x-ray imaging, triage, and an on-site lab. An ambulance pick-up area allows for efficient transfer to inpatient hospitals when needed.

The project team also included regionally based firms with extensive healthcare experience, including Devenney Group Architects, an architectural firm dedicated exclusively to healthcare environments, and JE Dunn Construction, one of the nation’s leading construction management firms. This marks the third HonorHealth Complete Care facility successfully delivered by this collaborative team.
