Newmark’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets and Investment Banking Team announces it has arranged the development funding for a state-of-the-art orthopedic and sports medicine healthcare
complex, part of a larger strategic joint venture to fund a $300 million development pipeline of purpose-built healthcare properties. The venture is between Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate – a
leading healthcare real estate development and investment firm in the US, who has developed and invested in approximately four million square feet of healthcare real estate over its 15-year
history–and Heitman, a $50 billion real estate investment management firm that invests in equity and debt across all real estate property types including healthcare real estate. The health complex will be operated in partnership between Ochsner Health, the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and NBA’s Pelicans, and Andrews Medicine.
