Florida Coast Medical Center officially opened its doors today, September 9, 2025, at 9 a.m., becoming the first new hospital to open on the Treasure Coast in more than a decade. The $200 million, 180,000-square-foot facility expands access to high-quality care in St. Lucie County and beyond.
It is located near Florida’s Turnpike off Becker Road at 310 SE Veranda Falls Way.
The hospital includes 54 in-patient beds and a 24-hour emergency department, ensuring patients receive timely care in a modern and efficient environment. In addition, an adjacent medical office building houses physician practices and an ambulatory surgery center, supporting a strong continuum of care for patients close to home.
Florida Coast Medical Center features the latest innovations in healthcare delivery, including advanced robotic surgical systems that allow for precision procedures and quicker recoveries. Patient-centered safety features, such as cell phone charging ports built into hospital beds, reduce fall risks by keeping devices within reach.

Beyond today’s opening, the property has been designed with the flexibility to grow alongside the community. Future expansions will be tailored to meet the evolving healthcare needs of residents across the Treasure Coast.
Florida Coast Medical Center is part of the Palm Beach Health Network, which includes six other hospitals across Palm Beach County. The addition of the Port St. Lucie facility extends the network’s reach into the Treasure Coast, strengthening its commitment to delivering exceptional care across South Florida.
