Cushman & Wakefield represents ownership of RevOZ Capital, Revitate and Argosy Real Estate Partners in 120,000 SF lease
Newly transformed DOCO facility will become a beacon of clinical excellence and innovation
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – April 23, 2025 – Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has represented the joint venture of Revitate’s opportunity zone platform, RevOZ Capital, and Argosy Real Estate Partners in securing Sutter Health as a full building medical office tenant for its newly transformed SIXSIXTY building in the heart of downtown Sacramento, California. Located at 660 J Street, SIXSIXTY is a 120,000 square-foot (sf) mixed-use commercial building. The four-story building is situated on one of the city’s most connected intersections, adjacent to Golden1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings, and an abundance of other vibrant retail, restaurant, and entertainment destinations in the central business district.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Ron Thomas, SIOR, Bruce Hohenhaus, SIOR and Kevin Goldthwaite represented ownership in the lease to Sutter Health. Cushman & Wakefield also provides Property Management services for SIXSIXTY.
Sutter Health plans to use the 120,000 sf building to serve as its Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex, a destination center of excellence scheduled to open in late 2027. The facility will become a beacon of clinical excellence and innovation, designed to address the region’s growing demand for orthopedic specialty medicine where shortages currently exist.
“For more than a century, we’ve had the privilege of serving Sacramento, and we’re proud to deepen that commitment through this exciting project,” said Warner Thomas, president and CEO of Sutter Health.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sutter Health to SIXSIXTY in downtown Sacramento,” said Alex Bhathal, Revitate’s Executive Chairman. “This investment into downtown is a further milestone in the revitalization of Sacramento’s urban core that has occurred since the opening of the Golden 1 Center.”
During 2021 through 2024, ownership completed a major transformation on the low-rise that included a full interior and lobby renovation, and re-skinning of the exterior envelope with new floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows.
“This exciting lease at the best-in-class SIXSIXTY building was a collective effort among Sutter Health, RevOZ, Argosy Real Estate Partners, Downtown Sacramento Partnership, and City of Sacramento. Ownership has created an amazing and forward-thinking workplace in downtown Sacramento. Their dedication, patience and exceptional execution have paid off with this transformative lease to Sutter Health. Now, the tenant has a fantastic blank canvas to customize the Class A space for their healthcare services and tailor it to their patients’ needs,” said Ron Thomas, Executive Managing Director.
The Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex will be an easily accessible, comprehensive “one-stop shop” for high-caliber orthopedics and sports medicine care, according to Sutter Health. Services will include Orthopedics, Sports medicine and concussion clinics,Physical therapy, Ambulatory surgery center, Diagnostic imaging, Sports psychology, andNutrition support.
Future service offerings will feature expanded treatment options fueled by research, as Sutter Health continues to grow as a destination center for clinical trials in orthopedics and sports medicine, and other specialty areas like cancer, neuroscience, heart and vascular care. As a community-based health system, Sutter Health seeks to rapidly translate research findings to care that drives improved patient outcomes across its footprint. Sutter’s graduate medical education programs will eventually have a presence at the complex as well, helping broaden dynamic pathways to train and retain the highest-caliber physicians.
In addition to the numerous surrounding amenities and entertainment venues, SIXSIXTY is a short walk to Light Rail and Amtrak and within minutes to multiple freeways and the Sacramento International Airport.
SIXSIXTY also provides ample parking via direct elevator access from the on-site subterranean garage.
