News Release: Leading California Healthcare Architecture Firm Expands From Orange County to Silicon Valley

Given Design Group marks growth by opening second headquarters in Santa Clara County to better serve hospitals and healthcare facility clients throughout Northern California

CAMPBELL, Calif. (Oct 5, 2023) Given Design Group (GDG Healthcare Architects), California’s premier healthcare architecture and design firm, is expanding within the Golden State by opening a second design studio and facility in Santa Clara County.

This week, GDG officially opens the doors to a newly renovated design facility located at 54 N. Central Ave., Suite 100, Campbell CA 95008 that will serve as a local headquarters to serve clients in the medical industry throughout Northern California.

The new design studio location represents significant growth for GDG, which has expanded its business in Northern California to include major architectural projects throughout Silicon Valley. One recent high-profile project spearheaded by GDG was the renovation of Valley Health Center Morgan Hill (formerly DePaul Medical Center), a 22,500-square-foot healthcare clinic that underwent a $16.3 million revitalization from a derelict vacant building to a state-of-the-art modern healthcare facility. Opening in the fall of 2023, Valley Health Center Morgan Hill will feature a large lobby and reception area, outpatient pharmacy, clinical specimen lab, urgent care, X-ray and multiple patient exam rooms.

“Opening a second facility in Campbell is a major milestone for GDG that will allow us to better serve the Silicon Valley healthcare community,” said Jesse Given. “While our origins are in Orange County, we have grown significantly in recent years as we continue transforming hospitals and medical centers throughout California with impactful, efficient designs.”

Founded in 2005 by Jesse Given, AIA and his wife Kisha Given, Assoc. AIA, GDG initially worked in commercial and residential architecture and interior design throughout Orange County and Los Angeles before transitioning full-time to the healthcare and medical sector. Recognized as experts in navigating the complex regulations of California Health Care Access and Information (HCAI formerly known as OSHPD), GDG is one of the few architectural firms in California that is 100 percent dedicated to designing and developing healthcare facilities.
