The Minneapolis-based healthcare real estate developer replaced a former office building in the downtown area with a state-of-the-art, Class A healthcare facility
The new Wayzata Specialty Center is in a highly visible, accessible location in downtown Wayzata.
WAYZATA and MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., June 21, 2023 – Officials from Minneapolis-based Davis held a grand opening ceremony June 15 to celebrate the completion of the 16,147-square-foot, Class A Wayzata Specialty Center.
Tailwind Pediatric Dentistry and Lorenz Clinic, a family psychotherapy practice, are leasing the entire second floor of the two-story building and LAK MedSpa has a portion of the first floor at 1120 E. Wayzata Blvd. in Wayzata, a western suburb of Minneapolis.
Mark Davis, Founder and Principal of Davis, says his firm replaced an outdated office building with a modern healthcare facility that would benefit healthcare provider tenants.
“The Wayzata Specialty Center is in an ideal downtown location near housing and an abundance of retail and restaurant establishments,” says Mr. Davis of the national healthcare real estate development, property management, brokerage and investment firm.
He adds, “This medical office building (MOB) also has great visibility and is conveniently accessible from Wayzata Boulevard. In addition, it’s in a thriving, growing market with a high estimated average household income of $165,693 within five miles of the facility.”
The architect for the project was Synergy Architecture Studio, Minneapolis, and the general contractor was Timco Construction, Plymouth, Minn. In addition to developing the facility, Davis is also providing property management and leasing services.
LAK MedSpa was among the building tenants that participated in the June 15 grand opening celebration.
