HREI^™ CREATES FIRST EDITORIAL ADVISORY BOARD

I’m not sure which category we fall into. I hope it’s the first one. But, I prefer to believe that everyone needs a little advice sometimes.

That is why I am beyond pleased to announce the creation of the first Healthcare Real Estate Insights^™Editorial Advisory Board. We are honored that our invitation to join this inaugural board was accepted by some of the most experienced, prominent people in the business of healthcare real estate. (An article with details about our new board can be found on Page XX, and a list of board members will appear on this page in this and all subsequent editions.)

As far back as 2002, when we were first doing our due diligence for the possible launch of HREI^™, we knew that if we went ahead with the newsletter we would someday create an Editorial Advisory Board. Now is the time.

Why did we wait so long? In part, it’s because we wanted to thoroughly get to know the industry. You also needed time to get to know us. For this first board, we also wanted to ask individuals who have been fully dedicated to healthcare real estate for many years and who have been loyal HREI^™ subscribers since Day 1. The board we selected reflects those criteria.

If you or one of your colleagues were not asked to be on our board this time, please don’t be offended. There were too many well-qualified candidates to include everyone. We also decided to “save” some very qualified people for future board membership. So, we might already have our eye on you. But, if you would like to nominate someone for the future, please let me know.
