VA facility-focused U.S. Federal Properties tops Revista’s annual survey

Who was the big winner in this year’s Revista Outpatient Real Estate Development Report? One might say that it was the third-party outpatient facility development sector itself.

Third-party development volumes not only increased significantly from a year earlier. Third-party healthcare real estate (HRE) firms also grabbed a significantly larger share of the development workload and ownership of new projects compared to the number of projects “self-developed” by healthcare providers.
The 2020 edition (based on 2019 data) is the fourth annual outpatient development report from Revista, an Arnold, Md.-based HRE research firm. As has been the case for each of the past four years, the most recent development survey compiled by Revista ranks the top-rated outpatient medical facility developers from the previous year. Healthcare Real Estate Insights collaborated with Revista to develop the initial survey in 2016, and continues to assist in its promotion.
