Cushman & Wakefield Expands Healthcare Advisory Practice with Addition of Three Healthcare CRE Executives
Chris Barnet, Melissa Horta and Brittani Peedin Join Cushman & Wakefield in Dallas, Las Vegas and Tampa, respectively

LOUIS, December 10, 2018 – Cushman & Wakefield has announced three new additions within its Healthcare Advisory Practice, Chris Barnet in Dallas, Melissa Horta in Las Vegas and Brittani Peedin in Tampa. The additions extend the national Cushman & Wakefield healthcare brokerage footprint to more than 50 markets.
Lorie Damon, Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Healthcare Advisory Practice, said their expertise in healthcare brokerage services represents an opportunity for the company to expand its healthcare real estate capabilities in the respective markets as well as nationwide.

Chris Barnet will oversee healthcare leasing, tenant advisory, investment sales and development in the Dallas market. His healthcare clients include large medical organizations such as United Surgical Partners, Kindred Healthcare/Rehabcare Hospital Holdings, the American Institute of Gastric Banding, Diabetes America and Midland Memorial Hospital. He is regularly named a Dallas “Power Broker” by D CEO, an honor he most recently received in 2018.
Melissa Horta will provide real estate strategies, leasing options and financial analysis to healthcare landlord and tenant clients throughout the Las Vegas market. Her extensive background managing real estate transactions for a Las Vegas healthcare system provides a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing health care providers.
Brittani Peedin joins the Cushman & Wakefield team in Tampa, where she will manage brokerage transactions for the West Florida Division of HCA. Her focus will be on maximizing the occupancy goals for the client’s owned properties in the western Florida market.
