News Release: Anchor Health Properties Hires New Executive Vice President Western US

(Charlottesville, VA)– Anchor Health Properties, (Anchor), a national, full-service healthcare real estate development, management and acquisitions company focused solely on medical facilities, is pleased to announce that healthcare development leader, David Chung, has joined the firm as Executive Vice President, Western U.S.

In his new role, Chung will lead and oversee the expansion of Anchor’s Western US business strategy and focus on development of medical office buildings, outpatient service facilities and all other ambulatory service center developments.

Chung brings more than 20 years of experience within healthcare real estate, spanning all disciplines within the healthcare development industry. His wide-range of expertise spans from planning, design, construction, project management, capital/financial modeling, acquisitions/dispositions, real estate development and portfolio management.  Additionally, his previous executive positions within large healthcare systems allows him to apply his experience and understanding to deliver highly successful real estate development solutions.

Prior to joining Anchor, Chung held key leadership roles within the industry including Vice President of Development at Duke Realty Healthcare and as the Regional Director of Real Estate/Construction for Providence St. Joseph Health System for Western Washington.  During his career, he has held other key related roles as a Principal, Design Studio Leader, Project Manager and Healthcare Market Segment Leader.

Chung earned his Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and his Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the USC Graduate Real Estate Association, American Society for Healthcare Engineering, Urban Land Institute, Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering and other meaningful industry organizations.

He previously served as Elder at Living Hope Community Church in Brea, California and as a member of the Corporate Council Board of Directors for Tri Cities Hospital, San Diego, California.
