Vice president of advisory services joins growing Hammes healthcare consulting practice

She will lead a practice group dedicated to advising healthcare organizations as they navigate the range of competing priorities healthcare executives currently face surrounding population health management, capital resource and facility planning and development of ambulatory network and acute specialty hospital development strategies.
O’Connor’s highly successful career and in-depth knowledge and experience enhance Hammes Company’s advisory service capabilities. Her depth of experience demonstrates her ability to navigate the complexities of an integrated health system. She will lead a talented team that has provided innovative ambulatory network, master facility, and capital project feasibility planning services for over two decades for clients across the United States. O’Connor brings over 20 years of progressive experience in strategic planning development, clinical and operational analyses, and process improvement. She worked most recently as vice president of corporate strategy and business development for Sentara Healthcare–one of the nation’s perennial “Top Integrated Health Systems”.
O’Connor earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at the University of Buffalo and a master’s of business administration at California State University.
