News Release: Cornerstone Companies Inc. Breaks Ground on $7 Million Medical Office Building in Tipton

TIPTON, IN (April 24, 2017) – Cornerstone Companies Inc. has broken ground on a $7 million medical office building in Tipton, IN. The nearly 25,000-squarefoot building is located on the grounds of IU Health Tipton Hospital and IU Health will serve as its anchor tenant.

The two-story building, designed by American Structurepoint Inc., will be completed in January 2018. The building will be connected to the hospital, providing patients with easy access to hospital services if needed. Tenants in the fully pre-leased building include IU Health Tipton Hospital Rehabilitation Services, IU Health Physicians – Primary Care, Methodist Sports Medicine and Page/Condict Orthodontics. The building also includes clinic space for specialty care physician offices.

Indianapolis-based Cornerstone will serve as both the developer and general contractor for the building.

“Cornerstone is excited to have an opportunity to work with both IU Health and Methodist Sports Medicine on their ambulatory strategies,” said Tag Birge, Cornerstone president.
