News Release: BOMA International Honors Cushman & Wakefield’s Lorie Damon with The Outstanding Achievement Award

LOUIS, May 31, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Lorie Damon, Managing Director of the Healthcare Practice Group, was honored with The Outstanding Achievement Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International during the keynote luncheon at the organization’s recent Medical Office Building and Healthcare Facilities Conference in Orlando. The award is in recognition of her exemplary contributions to the conference and the healthcare real estate industry.

“It was such a surprise to receive this award,” said Ms. Damon. “I am honored to be recognized by BOMA International. Working on the conference over the years has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so pleased to be working in this industry.”

Damon joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2013, and was named Managing Director of the Healthcare Practice Group in 2015. She leads the Healthcare Practice Group, working with team members and clients across the country to promote leadership and best practices in leasing and asset management across the continuum of healthcare assets. She has 11 years of experience in healthcare real estate. Previously, she served as Vice President, Education and Research, with BOMA International, where she facilitated and guided growth of the conference.

BOMA International is a federation of 91 BOMA U.S. associations and 18 international affiliates representing the owners and managers of all commercial property types. Its mission is to advance a vibrant commercial real estate industry through advocacy, influence and knowledge.
