The newly opened Scott & White Rock Prairie Clinic in College Station, Texas is connected to a new 143-bed hospital, which is expected to open in mid-August.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, July 25, 2013 – Scott & White Healthcare recently held a grand opening celebration for the Rock Prairie Clinic in College Station, located 90 miles northwest of Houston. Scott & White, which operates the largest multi-specialty physician group in the state, is leasing 100 percent of the building for its employed physicians as well as clinical outpatient services.
The four-story, 120,000-square-foot clinic, which was developed and is owned by commercial real estate firm Duke Realty, is located on the 98-acre campus of Scott & White Hospital – College Station at 700 Scott & White Dr. The five-story, 143-bed acute care hospital is expected to open in mid-August.
Rock Prairie Clinic is connected to the hospital on two levels and houses numerous medical specialties, including obstetrics/ gynecology services, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation and therapy services, a comprehensive sleep center and a full-service pharmacy.
“The new clinic allows us to expand Scott & White’s presence in College Station so that we are able to provide Brazos Valley residents with greater access to quality healthcare,” said Robert W. The Rock Prairie Clinic is owned by Duke Realty College Station Development LLC., which is wholly owned by Duke Realty Limited Partnership. The architect for the clinic was Jacobs Engineering Group, and the general contractor was Kitchell Contractors, Inc.
