Outside of the Metroplex in North Texas, Dallas-based Caddis Partners LLC might not be a big name when it comes to the development of medical office buildings (MOBs).

But in the Dallas area, Caddis has become quite a significant player, as it has closed eight medical real estate transactions totaling 350,000 square feet since mid-2008. Its portfolio of managed assets has reached 600,000 square feet.

Recently, Caddis Partners announced another project, a future 110,000 square foot, three-story MOB in south Arlington, a suburb of Dallas. Financing for the future Texas Clinic at Arlington closed on Nov. 25 and a groundbreaking was scheduled for late December. The project is expected to take about 12 months to complete, according to Caddis officials.
