As noted in one of the articles on Page 1 of this edition, total third quarter (Q3) medical office building (MOB) sales activity was the highest since Q4 2008. Marcus & Millichap also says there seems to have been a recent increase in MOB sales activity. Now comes the monthly report on construction starts, which indicates that healthcare facilities construction grew 6 percent in October compared with the previous month. The report was compiled by McGraw-Hill Construction.
