PMB president proud of building firm’s reputation and long-term relationships

Those who know PMB President Mark D. Toothacre describe a visionary but humble and mentoring leader who is quick to share opportunities and recognition with others.
That selflessness – along with an enviable track record – has earned Mr. Toothacre the 2020 HREI Insights Awards™ Healthcare Real Estate (HRE) Executive of the Year award.
Mr. Toothacre, one of several top HRE executive nominated in 2020, was selected by a vote of the HREI Editorial Advisory Board. Due to the pandemic, the award was announced during a prerecorded presentation released Dec. 16, rather than during an in-person event as in previous years.
For Mr. Toothacre, spending his 32-year career building San Diego-based PMB into a premier, well-respected HRE firm has been “an incredibly gratifying journey.”
In his comments during the presentation, he added,
