Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate (“Catalyst HRE”), a national healthcare real estate developer, announces the acquisition of a 59,466 square foot multi-tenant medical office building (“MOB”) in San Angelo, Texas.
The MOB is 100% occupied and strategically located on the campus of the 171-bed San Angelo Community Medical Center (“SACMC”). The single-story building gives physicians the opportunity to provide specialties and service lines that are complementary to the hospital located adjacent to it. The facility is equipped with four operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and a full imaging suite.
The building is anchored by an independent physicians’ group, West Texas Medical Associates (“WTMA”). The 27-physician multi-specialty group was founded in 1920 and offers a wide range of ancillary services including orthopedics, women’s health, ENT, urology, anesthesiology, imaging, laboratory, ophthalmology, allergy, dermatology, family practice, pediatrics, and psychology. Due to the vast array of primary and ancillary services, they can serve the entire range of the age spectrum for the surrounding downtown area.
SACMC, a community healthcare provider with a 171-bed facility, occupies the remaining 24.2% of the MOB. The tenant provides Level II-A Neonatal ICU, an accredited heart and vascular program, and an Orthopedic and Total Joint Center.
