FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The pavilion, which totals almost 97,000 sq. ft. of Class A medical office space, is the first new development on the St. Joseph campus since the hospital opened four years ago

DENVER – Aug. 18, 2020 CBRE announced that Children’s Medical Center (CMC) has pre-leased 8,699 sq. ft. at Saint Joseph Medical Office Pavilion, a new medical facility delivering fall 2020 at 1818 Ogden Street in Denver, Colo. CBRE’s Dann Burke and Stephani Gaskins represented the developer, Fidelis Healthcare Partners from Dallas, Texas. CMC, which has a long history in Denver dating back to 1931, will relocate from its current location at 1625 Marion Street in the first quarter of 2021.

“We are so pleased to welcome Children’s Medical Center to our building. They have a rich history in this neighnorhood, providing great care to the children of Denver for nearly nine decades,” said Kevin O’Neil, President, Fidelis Healthcare Partners.

“This is fantastic news. The physicians at Children’s Medical Center already have a great relationship with Saint Joseph Hospital as they have had privleges at the hospital for a long time. We are excited to welcome such a high-quality and well-respected group of peditricians to our campus community,” added Jameson Smith, President, Saint Joseph Hospital.

Located on the corner of 18th Avenue and Ogden Street, Saint Joseph Medical Office Pavilion will have three floors dedicated to Class A medical office space as well as 10,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail, which will support employees, patients and guests during the day and the broader neighborhood in the evening. Initial plans also call for a rooftop deck that includes two patios totaling 3,200 sq. ft. and a fire pit. Approximately 78,000 sq. ft. of medical office space remains available for lease, with the flexibility to suit a variety of practice sizes.

“The Saint Joseph Medical Office Pavilion is the first new building on campus since the opening of the $650 million hospital four years ago. The Pavilion combines efficient, modern medical office space with state-of-the-art mechanical systems, including solar panels, a green roof and scenic views of downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains. It’s a rare opportunity to practice great medicine in a brand-new building on a nearly brand new campus in the center of Uptown Denver,” stated Dann Burke, First Vice President, CBRE.

Saint Joseph Medical Office Pavilion will include free covered physician parking under the building and free structured parking provided on an adjacent lot for visitors, patients and employees.

CBRE is providing project management services for the build-out, run by Tony Diganci and Carl Holmes, and property management for the building upon its completion, led by Kate Colson-Abel.

Saint Joseph Hospital is ranked among Healthgrades’ America’s Best Hospitals and delivers an estimated 4,500 babies annually.
