(June 3, 2019 – Houston) – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces the addition of eight professionals to provide healthcare project management and construction services for properties across the country. James Selmser, Steven Donnelly, and Mark Harrison have joined the Healthcare Advisory Services group as Senior Vice Presidents; Annette Littleton, Kelly Spivey, and Andy Dermawan as Senior Project Managers; and Mitch Silverman and Lindsey Lohberg have joined as Project Managers.
“Our vertical approach to the healthcare industry and the talent of professionals like James, Steven and Mark give us a unique perspective into this complex environment and allow us to discover untapped value for clients,” said Tom Wittenberg, National Director of TCS Project Management and Construction. “We are creating new approaches to help clients deliver projects more efficiently, including a comparative validation model to promote the importance of measuring change management and culture in the final delivery of a project.”
With more than 210 years of combined experience, this team has a proven track record of working on some of the country’s most high-profile projects in the healthcare, life sciences, research, and laboratory space. The team has recently been awarded several new national assignments for both project management and lean consulting services. The team’s success is due in part to conducting research and engaging with thought leaders in the healthcare, bioscience, construction and real estate industries, as well as its dedication to understanding the client’s mission, strategy and business goals before engagement.
“We keep patients at the forefront of every project, and we ensure that our efforts are focused on positively impacting patient satisfaction, staff retention and recruitment,” said Daina Pitzenberger, Senior Vice President at TCS. “We offer national benchmarks and practical solutions that are flexible to the ever-changing reimbursements and regulations.”
Selmser has held senior positions in project and construction management groups, overseeing national accounts. During his career, he has been responsible for a total of $3 billion of healthcare assets. Donnelly has been responsible for a real estate portfolio consisting of more than 25 properties. Harrison’s background includes overseeing multiple teams across seven healthcare campuses for a total of $2.2 billion. His teams were responsible for managing all aspects of a construction project from preconstruction to close-out/activation, as well as the master planning effort for some projects.
The TCS Healthcare Advisory Services team has grown to become the country’s largest dedicated healthcare real estate team, operating from 19 cities and including more than 145 members. The team provides a full range of services, including project management and construction services, property management, leasing, tenant advisory, and investment for hospitals, healthcare networks, physicians and investors.
