Experienced executive will oversee the operations and growth of the award-winning, nationwide Heartis® senior living brand
DALLAS, Jan. 3, 2019 – Tami Cumings, who has more than 25 years of experience in the independent living, assisted living and memory care industry, has joined Caddis® as Vice President, Senior Living to oversee the operations and growth of the firm’s award-winning, nationwide Heartis® senior living brand.

Ms. Cumings said she is pleased to work with the Heartis team, whose senior living residences are well received in local communities and have won a number of national awards, including Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ magazine awards for real estate excellence.
“I’m looking forward to marketing the many positive features and benefits of Heartis residences to local communities and increasing occupancy,” Ms. Cumings says. “My overall, long-term goal is to build upon the Heartis brand and grow our portfolio across the country.”
Over the years, Ms. Cumings has shouldered a variety of senior level responsibilities in both operations and sales for several prominent organizations. Most recently, before joining Caddis, she served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Arbor Company.
Other key positions included Vice President of Sales/Marketing and Vice President of Operations with Sunrise Senior Living, Chief Operating Officer for US Memory Care, and Senior Vice President of Sales with A Place For Mom. Additionally, early in her career she served as Executive Director for Assisted Living Concepts, one of the pioneers of senior living.
Ms. Cumings has served on the board for the Texas Assisted Living Association and, since 2012, has participated with other high-level senior living officials in the invitation-only COO/Sales Executive Roundtables of Argentum (formerly Assisted Living Federation of America). In her leisure time, Ms. Cumings enjoys traveling with her husband, listening to live music, and playing competitive ping pong tournaments with their five children.
