News Release: ‘Breaking More Ground’ Celebration Set for Sept. 20

Minot, ND — With building activity well underway at the site of its new healthcare facility, Trinity Health is holding a “Breaking More Ground” event September 20th to celebrate construction of its new regional healthcare campus and medical district.

The community is welcome to attend the event from 4 to 6 p.m. at the construction site located at 37th Avenue SW, west of the Minot Family YMCA.  A community picnic, refreshments, and music by Dakota Dixie will be featured, along with a short program about the project and its impact on healthcare delivery in the region.

“Breaking more ground means building more opportunity for the region we serve,” said Patrick Holien, Chairman of the Board.  “With our first 100 years ago nearly behind us, we look forward to creating a model for healthcare delivery that provides the best, most compassionate, most exceptional care possible for our patients, families, and communities.”

Once completed, the $350 million healthcare campus will include:

A prototype digital, patient-centered campus emphasizing quality and patient safety.

A six-story hospital tower with 208 private rooms designed to maximize patients’ experience.

A medical office building for hospital-based specialists and other providers to support the healthcare demands of the region, especially patients with multiple medical issues.
