News Release: Avison Young Arranges Sale of Class A Medical Office Park in Virginia

Three Multistory Buildings Ideally Located at Center of Ashburn Park in Loudoun County

Ashburn, Va.  – Avison Young announced today that it has arranged the sale of the Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza, a 75,191-square-foot, Class A medical office park in Loudoun County, Va.

The three-building office park is ideally located at the center of Ashburn Park, a planned mixed-used community in Ashburn. MBRE Healthcare and Kayne Anderson Venture purchased the 2-acre office park from Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC. The sale price was not disclosed.

Avison Young was chosen to market the property. Leading the investment sales team were principals Jim Kornick, Mike Wilson, Chip Ryan, Erik Foster and John Kevill, as well as Executive Vice President Mark Johnson. Avison Young’s debt team was led by principals Jon Goldstein, Wes Boatwright and Michael Yavinsky.

“This was outstanding opportunity to purchase a Class A office park with a tenant mix ideal for its location in a community of affluent young families,” Kornick said. “The tenants include family practices, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, radiology specialists, orthopedists, dentists and a daycare center. It’s perfectly suited for the community.”

Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza features three brick buildings, each three stories high and about 25,000 square feet. The buildings, arranged in an arch at 20905-20955 Professional Plaza, were constructed from 1999 to 2002.

The office park is situated at the intersection of Ashburn Farm Parkway and Clairborne Parkway, the center of the 1,200-acre planned mixed-use community of Ashburn Park. A grocery-anchored retail center is nearby.

The office park is conveniently located only 2.5 miles from the Dulles Greenway Toll Road, three miles from the growing Inova Loudoun Hospital and less than 10 miles from the new StoneSprings Hospital Center.
