Johns Hopkins Bayview Med Center plans $469M campus upgrade, new tower

A $469 million campus upgrade and expansion would add a new seven-story patient tower and include renovations in other buildings at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in eastern Baltimore

Since Johns Hopkins Medicine acquired what was then Francis Scott Key Medical Center in 1984, the academic health system has pumped more than $600 million into the 130-acre campus in eastern Baltimore, known today as Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC).
