San Antonio Gastroenterology Associates Signs 10-Year, 20,954 SF Lease Renewal at Medical Center Tower II

San Antonio Gastroenterology Associates (SAGA) has signed a 10-year, 20,954-square-foot lease renewal at Medical Center Tower II, located on the campus of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center. SAGA, the longest-standing gastroenterology group in San Antonio, has provided outpatient surgery and clinical care in the medical office tower since 2011.

Medical Center Tower II – together with neighboring Medical Center Tower I – are part of 4-building, 423,411-square-foot medical office portfolio Ackerman & Co. purchased with partners Artemis Real Estate Partners and MLL Capital in 2017.

Chad Gunter of Transwestern represented the landlord in the transaction and Alex Coe of Cresa Partners represented SAGA.

“San Antonio Gastroenterology Associates has been an integral part of the San Antonio community since opening its first practice in 1980, and we’re very pleased to accommodate the group’s space needs at this location,” said Kyle O’Connor, principal, MLL Capital.

Ownership is implementing major improvements across the portfolio, including new roofing, elevator modernization, HVAC system upgrades, and renovations to common area lobbies and corridors.

In addition to Medical Center Tower I & II, the Ackerman-led partnership’s San Antonio portfolio includes Santa Rosa Professional Pavilion and Rosa Verde Tower, located on the CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital of San Antonio campus.
