National healthcare real estate developer hires marketing communications professional as Director of Marketing to manage strategy and support of nationwide business development efforts
Kirstin Barbour has joined NexCore Group as its Director of Marketing.
NexCore Group, a national healthcare real estate developer, announced today that Kirstin Barbour has joined the firm as Director of Marketing.
NexCore Group Managing Principal Todd Varney says Ms. Barbour’s experience is a natural complement to the mission and direction of NexCore.
“Kirstin’s experience as a marketing executive in high-profile entertainment companies, particularly her experience in affiliate relationships and collaborative creation, is in line with the direction NexCore is going.”
In her new role at NexCore, Ms. Barbour will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and public relations for NexCore, including overseeing the strategy, production and execution of all business development materials; collaboration with development and leasing teams to design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and leasing campaigns; and maintaining corporate image and marketing projects, production and operations.
Ms. Barbour has enjoyed a 22-year career marketing and communications for several entertainment and technologies platforms, including Starz Entertainment, Circuit City, EchoStar Communications Corporation and Siemens Energy & Automation Inc.
Ms. Barbour holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees in Marketing, Organizational Management and International Business from University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business.
