370,000 square feet Sobrato Pavilion houses rehab ‘hospital within a hospital’

The new 370,000 square foot, $468 million Sobrato Pavilion recently opened on the campus of Santa Clara (Calif.) Valley Medical Center.
As the healthcare delivery model continues to evolve, more and more patients will be treated via tele-medicine or in outpatient settings, leaving hospitals to focus more and more on technology and treating those who are very sick or recovering from serious illness or injury.
