The project was successful in terms of being very open and transparent throughout the entire process. The contractor (DPR) was very realistic with the owner in terms of money and time, which was crucial given the scope changes mid-project. One way it did this was by providing a monthly schedule narrative. This meant that every month the owner got a schedule with a lengthy narrative explaining why and how everything was happening. Because of the time crunch, the engineers were able to help provide solutions and help work out issues to problems before presenting them to the design team and client.
