Project Marks Second MorningStar Senior Living Community in New Mexico
Co-developers MorningStar Senior Living and Confluent Senior Living have broken ground on a new senior living community in Santa Fe, NM.
SANTA FE, NM (November 6, 2017) – Co-developers MorningStar Senior Living and Confluent Senior Living have broken ground on a new senior living community in Santa Fe, NM. The 71,000-square-foot development will deliver 85 units for assisted living and memory care residents.
Centrally located in the established St. Francis Drive Corridor, MorningStar of Santa Fe will be situated on four acres within the mixed-use neighborhood. The project will feature 56 suites dedicated to assisted living and 29 suites devoted to the individualized care of residents with memory impairment in a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites.
With the anticipated completion in fall 2018, residents will enjoy a 24-hour bistro along with executive chef-prepared meals in restaurant-style and private dining options, a spa and massage therapy room, fitness and wellness center, theatre, chapel, library and salon. Planned outdoor amenities include a secured courtyard with walking paths, community planting areas, and a barbecue and fire pit. Assisted living residents will have 24-hour access to staff and full-time licensed nurses for personalized care, with housekeeping and linen service, concierge and scheduled transportation.

The project represents the tenth joint venture between affiliates of MorningStar, a Denver-based senior living developer, owner and operator, and Confluent Senior Living, a subsidiary of Denver-based real estate investment and development firm Confluent Development. Confluent is the project owner and MorningStar will serve as the operator.
The development marks the second MorningStar Senior Living community in New Mexico, with MorningStar and Confluent completing the MorningStar of Albuquerque community in February 2016.

Rosemann & Associates is serving as the architect for the new development and New Mexico-based Bradbury Stamm Construction is the general contractor.
