(OCT. 27, 2017 – San Antonio) – Transwestern’s San Antonio office today announces it has been retained by Velocis to provide leasing and property management services for Legacy Oaks Medical Plaza. Transwestern Senior Vice President Ken Adams and Senior Associate ‘Licia Shreves are the leasing agents for the 224,262-square-foot complex at 5360 – 5430 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio.

“With extensive capital improvements and a prime health care location, Legacy Oaks already has superior groundwork laid for long-term success. Transwestern brings extensive on-the-ground market expertise, and we are pleased to partner with them to build on Legacy Oaks’ existing momentum,” said Jim Yoder, Principal at Velocis.

Legacy Oaks consists of seven recently renovated buildings and is currently 75 percent leased to a mix of health care providers including Baptist Health System, MEDNAX, BB&T and the Center for Healthcare Services. The property has 55,356 square feet available for lease. Situated in San Antonio’s northwest submarket, Legacy Oaks is conveniently located off Fredericksburg Road across from Oak Hills Country Club and adjacent to the South Texas Medical Center. The property is a professionally landscaped complex with on-site property management, above standard parking capabilities, signage opportunities, and high visibility.

“We are excited to work with Velocis to implement new leasing and management strategies at Legacy Oaks Medical Plaza, including additional building amenities, incentives for new tenants, and competitive rates,” said Adams. “We will utilize The Transwestern Experience, an innovative approach to service delivery that reflects our unique culture while producing measurable results for Velocis, to drive value for Legacy Oaks and its tenants.”

The four key goals of The Transwestern Experience include consistently creating positive experiences, connecting the dots between internal and external service, rupturing industry stereotypes, and building passion about purpose. This service mindset permeates all business lines at Transwestern, including property management. The approach has resulted in an average 12 percent increase in overall tenant satisfaction, with 94 percent satisfaction in response speed/efficiency, 89 percent in accuracy/attention to detail, and 91 percent in collaboration/partnership.

Transwestern has grown its healthcare leasing portfolio in San Antonio and Corpus Christi by more than 750,000 square feet in the past five months. Transwestern’s Healthcare Advisory team has grown to become the country’s largest dedicated healthcare team, operating from 19 cities and including 130 members.
