News Release: Florida Orthopaedic Institute leases 29,000-square-foot space in new medical office building in Tampa area

Construction started Oct. 24 on 53,000-square-foot building being developed by Ryan Companies

TAMPA, Fla. (October 25, 2017) – Florida Orthopaedic Institute has leased a 29,000-square-foot clinical suite in Brandon Gateway Medical Plaza, a 53,000-square-foot multi-tenant medical office building being developed in Brandon by Ryan Companies. Ryan Companies, which is also the architect and contractor of the project, broke ground on the building on Oct. 24 and completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.

Jim Allen and Juan Vega, Managing Directors with Colliers International’s Tampa-based Healthcare Services/Office Services Group, represented Florida Orthopaedic Institute in the lease, and now have been retained by Ryan Companies to lease the remaining clinical suites, which range from 3,000 to 24,000 square feet.

With the move to Brandon Gateway Medical Plaza, Florida Orthopaedic Institute, one of Florida’s largest orthopaedic groups, is expanding its Brandon clinic in response to its growing patient base in the Brandon area and surrounding submarkets. The new suite will be built out as an orthopaedic clinic and administrative offices, featuring 30 exam rooms and X-ray and MRI machines. Patients will also be able to receive physical and occupational therapy. The facility will be designed with the newest technology and treatment options to provide patients with all of the care they need at one location.

Brandon Gateway Medical Plaza is located at 560 South Lakewood Drive and offers visibility from the Brandon Parkway, which connects to the to east end of the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway.
