Inpatient Projects: Health system in Stillwater, Minn., acquires land near new bridge for possible replacement hospital campus

STILLWATER, Minn. – Stillwater-based Lakeview Health System has acquired a 46-acre site in the city, close to where a new, higher-traffic replacement bridge crosses the St. Croix River into Wisconsin. While Lakeview officials say they have not decided whether to build a replacement for the system’s 56-yeard-old hospital, the Minneapolis StarTribune reports that a concept plan for the site shows a campus with up to 97 beds, a maximum of 120,000 square feet of MOB space and a senior housing/health and wellness building.
