Newly assumed portfolio expands partnership with Penn Medicine

(Philadelphia, PA)- Anchor Health Properties, a national, full-service healthcare real estate development, management and acquisitions company focused solely on medical facilities, is pleased to announce the assumption of property management and leasing services of a medical office portfolio anchored by Penn Medicine and located in suburban Philadelphia, PA (Chester County).
“This engagement complements Anchor’s strengths in fostering long-term relationships and expanded partnerships with healthcare providers” said Ben Ochs, CEO of Anchor Health Properties.
The portfolio is comprised of eight buildings totaling more than 300,000 square feet of medical office. The portfolio was originally developed and managed by John Ciccarone and J&N Management. With the addition of these properties, Anchor now manages more than 2.5 million square feet of healthcare buildings.
“We are excited for the opportunity to work with so many fantastic physicians and practices, many of which we are already familiar with from our award-winning Penn Medicine Southern Chester County building in Jennersville, PA,” said Jill Higgins, VP of Property Management and director of Anchor’s property management engagements in the mid-Atlantic.
Erica Edwards, who recently joined the team and brings 16 years of property management experience, has day-to-day responsibility for overseeing the portfolio. Prior to Anchor, she managed a portfolio of medical office buildings in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region. Edwards brings valuable expertise in medical office building management and is looking forward to expanding Anchor’s relationships and management presence in Chester County.
