CHICAGO — June 15, 2017 — Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC (“H2C”), a healthcare focused strategic advisory and investment banking firm, is pleased to announce that Manfred R. Steiner has joined the firm as a Managing Director in H2C’s Chicago Office.
Manfred joins H2C with twenty-five years of experience providing financial, valuation, and strategic advisory services to hospitals, health systems, physician enterprises, surgery centers, diagnostic imaging and ancillary facilities across the provider-based spectrum. In addition to helping clients evaluate and execute a myriad of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including opining on fair market value, Manfred has expertise in the development of creative vertical integration strategies, particularly around large and small physician enterprises. Manfred has assisted prominent healthcare organizations – including Geisinger Health System, CHRISTUS Health, Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, Stanford Healthcare, Surgery Partners, X-G Health Solutions, and Community Health Systems – in forming joint ventures, strategic alliances and countless other structures to achieve hospital/physician alignment and to integrate ancillary services. To support these initiatives, Manfred’s capabilities also include a full complement of transaction support and valuation services, including fair market valuations for regulatory compliance, fairness opinions, accretion-dilution analyses, due diligence, financial forecasting, and physician compensation benchmarking, among others.

Prior to joining H2C, Manfred was a Managing Director at Brown Gibbons Lang, a middle market investment bank, where he led the Hospitals and Health Systems practice. Manfred’s previous experience includes serving as Managing Director in the Financial Advisory Group at Huron Healthcare, as a Principal of Wellspring Partners, and senior positions at Valuation Counselors and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Manfred received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and earned a B.S. in Finance and Economics, Cum Laude from Babson College.
