MedCraft just completed another major project for Ascension Health. The Ascension Medical Center, a $13.5 million, 60,000 square-foot outpatient facility in Howell, Mich., (outside of Detroit) opened Friday. The new outpatient center will offer primary care services of family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and pediatrics. Specialties include cardiology, pulmonology and audiology. Other services include diagnostic imaging (with 3-D mammography), lab, physical therapy and occupational health. The center also is home to an urgent care that will be open seven days-a-week, 10 hours a day. MedCraft engaged Diekema Hamann for architectural and engineering services and the CSM Group for construction services.

Howell, Mich. — The Ascension Medical Center, a $13.5 million, 60,000 sq.-ft. outpatient facility in Howell, opened today. The new ambulatory care center, located at the Latson Road exit on I-96, will bring physicians, other caregivers and programs from Ascension’s Providence-Providence Park Hospital to one of the fastest growing areas in the state.

“This new outpatient medical center will expand health care options for residents in Howell and surrounding communities, providing families with greater access to primary and specialty care,” says Gwen MacKenzie, senior vice president, Ascension Healthcare/Michigan Ministry Market Executive.

The new outpatient center will offer primary care services of family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, and pediatrics.    Specialties include cardiology, pulmonology, and audiology.    Other services include diagnostic imaging (with 3-D mammography), lab, physical therapy, and occupational health.. The center is also home to an urgent care that will be open 7 days a week, 10 hours a day.

MacKenzie says the new Ascension Medical Center provides patients in Livingston County communities a convenient entry point to St. John Providence’s outstanding Centers of Excellence, including in heart and cancer care, orthopedics, and the neurosciences.

Ascension Medical Center was developed by MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate, LLC, a national developer of ambulatory care and medical office buildings. MedCraft engaged Diekema Hamann for architectural and engineering services and the CSM Group for construction services.
