Combination of two major systems would create a $27.8 billion healthcare colossus

Just as this edition of Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ was going to press, we learned that Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and San Francisco-based Dignity Health have signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore “aligning” their organizations. The two systems made individual announcements Oct. 24.
