Marshfield Clinic proposes new facility near its current outpatient campus

With a goal of reducing the cost of medical care provide to residents in west central Wisconsin, one of the area’s largest and growing health systems is planning to build a new hospital and cancer center in Eau Claire, a city of 70,000 or so residents in the heart of what is known as the Chippewa Valley area about 70 miles east of the Minnesota border.
