The CBRE U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Group is pleased to announce the sale of the Forest Park Medical Center – Austin. Scott Herbold of the Texas Healthcare Investment Properties Group teamed with Chris Bodnar, Lee Asher and Greg Greene of the U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Group to act as the Seller’s exclusive advisors.

Built in 2015 on 8.52 acres in the fast-growing Austin suburb of Round Rock, the campus design emulates the best of the hospitality industry. The 146,997 square foot hospital boasts forty private inpatient suites with twelve VIP/family suites, ten state-of-the-art operating rooms, two procedure rooms and six intensive care rooms. The common areas and restrooms of the 4-story, 79,708 square foot on-campus MOB have been completed along with the 508-space parking garage.

Forest Park Medical Center – Austin was planned to be a physician majority-owned and governed hospital focused on providing the highest quality care with the latest technology in a luxurious environment. FPMC Austin Realty Partners LP, the property’s real estate entity, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2016.
