News Release: Gail A. Dahlstrom Joins HDR’s Consulting Clinical Group

Chicago, IL – In her new senior healthcare consultant role in the HDR Consulting Clinical Group in Chicago, Gail will lead all aspects of HDR’s healthcare planning efforts with our clients. This includes creating strategic plans, master facility plans, functional and space programs, and identifying areas of opportunity for process improvement.

She will also serve as a senior advisor to clients and lead internal teams to ensure consistent and professional outcomes. In fact, Gail considers her top three skills to be group facilitation, process knowledge and improvement and hospital and clinic operations.

With 32 years of experience as a healthcare executive with strong and diverse operations and project executive experience, Gail is known for clearly articulating future objectives and developing plans to achieve those objectives. She has been recognized for her ability to close the gap between future planning and daily operations, and between conceptual thinking and practical reality.

“The built environment should, in itself, be healthy, comfortable and welcoming,” Gail says. “And it should provide a place for staff, providers, patients, visitors and clients to safely conduct their business.”

She is most excited about joining HDR because of its reputation for operational and clinical excellence. She is looking forward to implementing “truly helpful solutions to real-life challenges—solutions that actually further and foster people’s health.”

Cyndi McCullough, vice president, senior healthcare consultant, states: “Gail brings a diverse skill set that will complement our integrated team process. We are thrilled to have her as part of the HDR family.”
