There are many ways to invest in the HRE sector

We are pleased to bring you this month’s cover story, “Non-traded healthcare REITs seek deals amid flood of capital.” We consider that article to be the complement and counterpoint to last month’s cover story on publicly traded healthcare real estate investment trusts (REITs), “Hail to the REITs.” It has been interesting for us to hear various healthcare REIT executives and other industry experts expound on the similarities and differences between the publicly traded and non-traded varieties of these healthcare real estate (HRE) investment vehicles. It was especially interesting to hear this month about the importance of broker-dealers, who market the non-traded REITs.
