News Release: Paris Regional Medical Center to Add 40,000 SF Medical Pavilion to Campus

ParisRegionalMedicalCenterMOBRenderingPARIS, Texas, Jan. 22, 2015 – A new addition is coming soon to the campus of Paris Regional Medical Center (PRMC). Groundbreaking for the Paris Regional Medical Pavilion – a 40,000 square foot medical office building – is slated to occur this summer.
The new facility, which will connect to the main hospital, is designed to expand the range of services and improve accessibility for patients of Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma. PRMC plans to occupy approximately 60 percent of the new facility. Once complete, patients will have unparalleled access to primary care, specialty care, laboratory and other services, all under one roof.

Rendina Healthcare Real Estate will develop the project and will collaborate with PRMC to provide what promises to be the new leading destination for outpatient medical care in the area.

Paris Regional Medical Center CEO Steve Grubbs said, “Over the last two years we have added a number of specialties and additional physicians to the local community. In order for us to be able to continue to expand the access to high quality, compassionate healthcare we needed additional space for physicians and hospital services. This new two-story medical office building will allow us to meet the needs of the medical staff and the community.”

Steve Barry, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Leasing for Rendina, said that Rendina is honored to build on its relationship with RegionalCare, while providing a much-needed solution for PRMC and the Paris community.

“We welcome the opportunity to support the hospital’s commitment to delivering the best healthcare experience possible,” said Barry. “The hospital needed a solution that would modernize the campus and attract new physicians, and this new medical pavilion is designed to do just that.”

Groundbreaking is expected to take place in mid-summer, with construction lasting approximately 10 months. The first phase of construction will coincide with the demolition of two vacant hospital buildings, which is a part of PRMC’s overall goal to enhance the campus environment and free up space for future expansion.
