SPRINGFIELD, Mo., and INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 3, 2014 – The chapel of the recently opened Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Springfield, Mo., now is graced with beautiful $16,000 stained glass windows donated by the hospital developer, Duke Realty of Indianapolis.

“In addition to units with the latest equipment, high-tech therapy devices and treatments, the new Mercy rehab hospital offers a variety of amenities designed to enhance patient healing,” says Keith Konkoli, Duke Realty Senior Vice President, Healthcare. “We’re pleased to donate beautiful stained glass windows to the hospital’s chapel, which we hope will help contribute to the calming, healing environment.”

The 60-bed, 63,000-square-foot rehab hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for patients who are recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. Located at State Route 65 and East Farm Road 188 (County Road 188), the hospital is100 percent leased and managed by Mercy Springfield Communities, a joint venture partnership comprised of Mercy Hospital Springfield; regional hospitals and clinics; and Centerre Healthcare Corp., a national leader in the development and operation of rehab hospitals.
