Israel-based subsidiary sells large building to HCP Inc., 5 MOBs to HTA

It looks as if Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Healthcare Trust of America Inc. (NYSE: HTA) landed even more of a gem from New York-based ProMed Properties Inc. than reported in June.

A couple of months after ProMed sold a six-building medical office building (MOB) portfolio to HTA for $200 million, news emerged in recent weeks that it has sold another five buildings to the publicly listed real estate investment trust for $64.2 million. The buildings compose an outpatient, multi-tenant medical campus in White Plains, N.Y., about 20 minutes outside of Manhattan.
