Transactions: Montecito, Oak Street joint venture acquires buildings in Maine

AUGUSTA, Maine – A joint venture (JV) of Nashville, Tenn.-based Montecito Medical and Chicago-based Oak Street Real Estate Capital LLC recently acquired two MOBs in Augusta that house doctors with MaineGeneral Health System.

While Montecito did not disclose the price the JV paid for the facilities, reports indicate that it acquired one of the buildings, the 51,000 MaineGeneral Musculoskeletal Center at 15 Enterprise Drive in North Augusta, for $14.7 million. The other building is the 20,000 square foot Maine First Park Medical Office Building in Oakland, Maine, about 15 miles north of Augusta. The price for that building has not been disclosed.
