Publisher’s Letter: MOB demand unlikely to decrease anytime soon

Mur01-13After a brief pause in late 2013 and early this year, the healthcare real estate (HRE) conference schedule has once again shifted into high gear.

So far in 2014, Healthcare Real Estate InsightsTM has participated in four HRE conferences, taking us to Boca Raton, Fla.; Los Angeles; the Minneapolis area; and New York. Next up is the granddaddy of them all, the BOMA Medical Office Buildings & Healthcare Facilities Conference, to be held in Nashville, Tenn., starting April 30. After drawing a record 800 or so attendees last year in San Francisco, the BOMA folks say they are expecting similar numbers this year in Music City.
