Real estate is adapting to the changing industry
As I was sifting through some of the folders on my computer desktop recently, I came across my notes from last fall’s Bisnow Healthcare Real Estate Summit in Philadelphia. In doing so, I was reminded of a very intriguing session I had attended, broadly titled “Healthcare: Real Estate Strategies in a Changing Industry.” We have not previously reported on that session. But, now that I have rediscovered it, some of the comments are too interesting not to share.
The moderator was Mike Noto, a senior vice president (SVP) with Health Care REIT, and the impressive roster of panelists included Charles Weinstein, VP – Real Estate, Boston Children’s Hospital; Maria Papola, SVP – Operations, Dana Farber Cancer Institute; Lisa Helfman, Director of Real Estate, Texas Children’s Hospital; and Todd Perman, executive managing director, Global Healthcare Services, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
